We are seeking a creative, motivated Web Design & IT Support Intern to support our digital presence and IT operations. The primary responsibility is designing and building the company website from scratch, including interactive features, creative content, and full deployment.

This role also includes collaboration with the Director of People & Culture on internal initiatives, including development of the Cyber Kiddies portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Design and build the company website from scratch, including layout, UI/UX, and visual branding - Add interactive features and functionality such as widgets, plugins, forms, animations, and embedded media - Deploy and configure the website to be fully functional online - Ensure responsive design for desktop, tablet, and mobile - Implement basic SEO best practices and integrate analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) - Test website functionality across multiple browsers and troubleshoot issues - Document website setup and features for future maintenance - Contribute creative ideas to digital content and branding - Provide basic IT helpdesk support as needed - Work collaboratively as part of a team

**Qualifications & Conditions of Employment**

- Prior experience building websites is required - Candidates must submit examples of previous website work (school projects, personal projects, or client work they are legally permitted to share) before the first interview - Experience with WordPress, Figma, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, or similar tools - Creative mindset with strong problem-solving skills - Basic IT troubleshooting knowledge - Strong communication and teamwork skills

**Education**

Education in Web Design, Computer Science, IT, or a related field is an asset, but candidates with relevant experience, certifications, or portfolio work will also be considered

**Mandatory Requirements**

- Criminal background check - Minimum of two professional or academic references - Legal authorization to work in Canada
