Are you interested in working on cloud infrastructure and tools supporting our internal PlayStation developers, enabling them to confidently deliver incredible experiences to our customers?
Our Foundational Systems and Experiences Engineering (FSEE) organization is responsible for building everything from the system software and customer-facing experiences that run on PlayStation consoles, to the SDKs that third-party game developers use to integrate with our PlayStation Network.
As a Software Developer Intern on our Cloud Infrastructure team, you’ll work alongside our full-time engineers located across North America, Europe and Japan, to automate infrastructure, develop tools, and create pipelines to build, test, and ship PS4/PS5 console, web, mobile, and PC applications!
- Collaborate with a team to build modern tools and cloud infrastructure used by our PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 console, web, mobile and PC application teams - Create, extend and maintain libraries, tools, and applications powering our CI/CD pipelines - Write clear, maintainable, portable, and highly functional code - Test and document code and processes - Support infrastructure reliability efforts
**Minimum Requirements:**
- A strong understanding of object-oriented principles - Familiarity with common data structures and algorithms - Experience with Git, GitHub - Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript - Familiar with common web tooling and frameworks - Familiar with container technologies such as Docker - Comfortable navigating the Linux command line
**Preferred Requirements:**
- Experience working with RESTful web APIs Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes - Understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems - Familiar with telemetry related technologies (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Cloudwatch, etc.) - Experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, etc.) - Familiar with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery / Deployment (CI/CD) - Excellent communication and collaboration skills
