**Role Description**

This internship role offers an exciting opportunity to work with GenPark's innovative AI systems. As a Machine Learning Intern, your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting data analysis, building machine learning and deep learning models, and assisting in enhancing algorithms for smarter user and product matching. You will collaborate with our team of data scientists and researchers to develop and test cutting-edge AI solutions. This is a hybrid role located in Vancouver, BC, with flexibility for remote work.

**Qualifications**

- Background in Computer Science with an understanding of programming concepts and software development - Proficiency in Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques and frameworks - Strong foundation in Statistics and knowledge of Algorithms for data modeling and analysis - Familiarity with AI/ML research and creative problem-solving skills - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent discipline - Strong communication and teamwork abilities - Prior experience in data analysis or academic projects related to AI/ML is a plus
