In line with prioritizing your health and safety, we have made working in the office fully optional. Most of our team enjoys a blend of home and in-office. In-office time brings many perks; however, we also place an emphasis on planning events and fun that all can enjoy.

**What does a day look like in my role?**

We get it: You need to know what you’re signing up for before you apply, right? This is what you need to know: As a **Machine Learning Engineering co-op**, you’ll:

- Assist in developing and training machine learning models - Clean, analyze, and prepare datasets for modelling - Experiment with model architectures and evaluate performance - Collaborate with software engineers and data teams - Document findings and help communicate results clearly - Think laterally and collaborate to work through tough challenges.

**By the end of your work term you will have:**

- Made meaningful contributions to systems that are used by people around the world daily. - Gained experience in a variety of cloud-based products and services. - Gained extensive experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Solved real problems and contributed to the health of our cloud environments. - Worked alongside some fabulous engineering teams.

Every Redbricker has 3 things in common: *We’re curious, hungry and good-humoured*. We try our best to balance hard work with good, old-fashioned fun. As a Cloud Engineering co-op with Leadpages, there are extra superpowers we are on the lookout for:

- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field - Basic understanding of machine learning concepts (e.g., regression, classification, neural networks) - Experience with Python and common ML libraries - Familiarity with data analysis tools - Strong curiosity, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn

**It would additionally be nice if you have:**

- Experience with SQL or data visualization - Exposure to cloud platforms or ML pipelines - Personal projects or coursework involving machine learning - A GitHub account with active repositories.

Please note: this is an 8 month co-op.
