Junior Software Engineer – Connector Team

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer – Connector Team to help build and enhance risk management solutions within our Cybersecurity Risk Platform. This role is a great opportunity for an engineer who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow while working alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and designers on software used by Fortune 500 customers.

In this role, you will help develop integrations that our platform users to gather data for business risk analysis. You’ll also contribute to AI-driven capabilities that support data mapping, deduplication, and inference of missing data. Our platform integrates with hundreds of cybersecurity and business applications to help customers understand enterprise infrastructure, risk exposure, and vulnerabilities.

This role reports to a Manager of Software Engineering or above and offers strong mentorship, hands-on experience, and clear growth pathways.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Contribute to the design and development of Connectors, the Connector Framework, and supporting tools - Collaborate closely with senior engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to deliver high-quality solutions - Implement well-tested, maintainable code aligned with product and engineering standards - Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and team discussions in an Agile environment - Learn and apply best practices related to performance, security, and scalability - Support operational needs for internal and external users of the platform - Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the team - Grow your skills through mentorship, feedback, and hands-on development work

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

- 0–2 years of experience in software development (industry, co-op, internship, academic, or personal projects all count) - Foundational experience with Java - Exposure to building or consuming integrations (e.g., REST APIs, databases, or external services) - Basic understanding of web technologies and data exchange formats - Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development practices - Strong communication skills and a willingness to ask questions and learn - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
