Partners in Credit is looking for a detail-oriented **Junior Data Analyst / Data Operations Coordinator** on a 1-year contract. This is a role designed for someone who enjoys the technical aspect of data operations as much as data analysis. You will be responsible for ensuring our daily data exchanges with financial partners are flawless, while providing the analytical support needed to drive our credit recovery strategies.

**Responsibilities**

**Data Operations & ETL (50%)**

- **Daily File Exchanges:** Manage and monitor the automated SFTP transfers of sensitive financial files between PIC and our external banking/credit partners. - **Data Gatekeeping:** Perform manual and automated validation checks to ensure incoming files meet quality standards before they are ingested into our production SQL databases.

**Analysis & Reporting (30%)**

- **Ad-hoc SQL Support:** Write and execute SQL queries to extract data for the collections, legal, and executive teams. - **Dashboard Maintenance:** Update and maintain internal reports (Excel) that track key performance metrics like recovery rates and agent productivity.

**Security & AI Governance (20%)**

- **Anonymization:** Ensure all data shared with third parties is stripped of PII, adhering strictly to the **PIC Security Framework**. - **Audit Support:** Maintain logs of all data movements and access requests to support our regulatory compliance and operational risk audits.

**Qualifications & Experience**

- **Technical Skills:** \* Strong proficiency in **SQL** (Select, Join, Group By, Union). - Mastery of **Microsoft Excel** (VLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, Power Query). - Familiarity with SFTP tools (e.g., WinSCP) and basic data formatting (CSV, JSON, XML). - **Education/Experience:** A degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Business Information Systems, OR 1–2 years of experience in a data-centric administrative role. - **Mindset:** You are "security-first." You understand that in the financial sector, a small data error can have significant consequences for consumers and the organization.
