We are looking for a highly motivated student to join our team!
Our Intern Program is designed to support the development of students and recent graduates for future positions by offering one-on-one mentoring, peer and experiential learning, internal training programs, and much more. We are currently accepting applications for undergraduate and master’s level students or recent graduates seeking the opportunity to work in the investment management space.
The Intern is a key member of the Performance and Analytics Project team, tasked with supporting the team to build strategic capabilities that deliver accurate and timely performance and analytics reporting for internal and external stakeholders.. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Performance and Analytics.
Responsibilities Include:
- Acquiring an understanding of the performance and analytics process workflow to support the production of accurate and timely reporting. - Acquiring a fundamental understanding of performance and analytics calculation methodology. - Collaborating with Project team members, IT teams, and stakeholders to build strategic performance and analytics solutions. - Other duties as assigned.
What do you need to succeed:
- Academic completion of 3rd year post-secondary education and above, with functional understanding of Investments and Accounting. - Being diligent, detail oriented, and accurate when preparing deliverables. Being driven to continuously learn from experiences and seek out feedback and development opportunities. - Building on strong communication skills (both verbal and written) . - Critical and analytical thinking skills. - Ability to plan, prioritize and manage time. - Having a collaborative mindset and positive attitude. - Ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment and manage multiple priorities. - Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with strong problem-solving ability. - A willingness to learn new things, are a self-starter and have the ability to work independently. - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

In addition to paid work experience for a 4 month (May-August 2026 term), we offer a number of developmental opportunities for our hires. This includes:

The base salary range for this position is CAD $45,000 to $65,000. The placement within the range is determined by the role and assessment of the candidate’s year of study and relevant work experience. As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you with the specific details for this position, as well as the total rewards offering at IMCO.
