**Role Description**

This is an internship role for a Machine Learning Engineer Intern, based in Toronto, ON, with some flexibility for remote work as part of a hybrid arrangement. The intern will focus on developing and implementing machine learning models, optimizing algorithms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Tasks include feature engineering, data preprocessing, model evaluation, and contributing to ongoing AI-driven projects to help enhance GenPark’s intelligent agent systems.

**Qualifications**

- Strong understanding of Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks - Proficiency in Computer Science and knowledge of foundational Algorithms - Background in Statistics or related data analysis methodologies - Knowledge of machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a computer science, data science, or related degree - Motivation to work in a dynamic, hybrid work environment with occasional office presence in Toronto, ON
