**Job Description** **Position:** Automation Engineer Co-op/Intern **Number of Position(s):** 3 **Duration:** 4 Months **Date:** May - Aug, 2026 **Location:** Hybrid in Ottawa, Canada **Education Recommendations** Currently enrolled in the third or fourth year of a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer/Software/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada. **How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn** **As part of our team, you will:**
- Learn about Nokia's Data Center Solution - Gain hands-on experience with OpenStack and Kubernetes - Develop scripts to aid our team in the delivery of custom automation projects
**Key Skills And Experience**
- Comfortable working with Linux operating systems - Familiar with virtualization technologies would be an asset - Experience with Java and familiarity with programming concepts - Scripting (bash, Perl, Python, etc.)
